Does anyone have or know of where I can get a quality made bimini top and full-size boat cover for a '97 Captiva 232 cuddy? I prefer to have them both in blue (as you can see from the pic to the left).

Thanks!!!!

I appreciate the feedback...I need to consider which top would work best for the weather in Florida. Your email is most helpful in helping to decide (eventually) which features are needed for the boat and what fabric works best from the experience of others. The boat has the factory bimini top which has no rips or splits in the seams (thankfully). After the first time out, I already knew the configuration of the factory top sucks, but good enough to keep from getting very sunburned.

I will keep your posted info in mind when selecting the top. Would the same material you mentioned be adequate for a full boat cover, too?

THANKS!!!!!!!

I assume which is dangerous when you say a full boat cover you are talking about a storage cover which I would suggest highly for the Florida sun anything you can do to protect the boat from the sun will save your investment - SO the answer is will sunbella work for a full boat cover well yea! but the material that is used for the top would be to heavy but I am sure that they make something for that - usually out of lighter material - If it where me I would have a full boat cover that attached to the trailer so that the sides of the boat where out of the sun also - which is a custom job - Why I say that is that you have a dark blue color which will absorb the sun heat and eventually cause fiberglass problems -

I would most likely have some tire covers made to protect the tires also -

Take a look around at other boats in the area and see for your self what the sun can do -

Hope this helps!

That's exactly what I would like to prevent  is damage to the fiberglass and to maintain the trailer and its equipment. I want to protect our CC and make sure it'll be around for a long time for many years of boating.

Thanks again!!!!
