All -

We've had reports that some people are having difficulty connecting to the website by using "www.rinkerboatowners.com".    While we research the issue, you can still access the site by using the "www.rinkerboatowners.com/forum" URL.

We'd appreciate it if you pass the word to other RBO members you might know, as well as spreading the word if you see a post on one of the mainstream boating sites.

Thanks
The Moderators.

It looks like the index.* file has been replaced or overwritten....I read through the Simplified Machine Forums @ http://www.simplemachines.org/ and found that other forums had been compromised who use SMF 1.1.11 by the same person or group.

If you know who manages this site, have them upgrade the SMF to the latest version and replace the missing index.* file...this should get the http://www.rinkerboatowners.com back up and running...

"the index.* file that needs to be reinstalled will be called index.html or index.php or default.html, etc...different programmers use different names for their home page...but most stick with index.html or index.php...."

I tried to contact Talonted Technologies but there is no contact information on their website.

Sounds like you guys are trying to contact Talon but I'll note that half the time both URL's wont work and often navigating between pages is so slow that I give up and clse down.
