270 2004 rinker would like to remove cooler storage bin , any ideas for door and trim there is a huge storage tray  thats onley accessable if you re move waste paper basket. it must be there for a reason i would like to make use of room thank you Richard[/b]

Hey Richard! If I understand correctly, you want to remove the bin at the wetbar that is used to store the cooler and turn it into storage space.

I have a friend that did something similar. He has an old Bayliner that had a built in cooler. He removed it and trimmed the opening with teak, then used StarBoardto fashion a door. With some shelves added, it looks like a factory option.

If this is indeed what you'd like to do, let me know and I'll see if I can get some pics the next time I see him.

Talon yes if you iwould like to see pics , there is a large tray under sink onley access to it is to re move waste basket .Ive consider a sliding door like whats  in our cabin  thank you  Richard

Next time I see him, I'll grab some pics. It may be a couple weeks since we got hauled out on Tuesday for bottom paint and won't be water bound until the boat is back :(

Try this site. They may have a door or box that will fit the opening. They made the cooler recess.You have to find a dealer to order from in your area but the have a ton of oem boat stuff. Gives me a woodie just looking through the catalog.
