I haven't been to the Cleveland Boat show in about 5 years, is it still as big? Just trying to figure out if it's worth the 3+ hour drive for me. The Cincy show has really shrank over the last few years and I looking to try something different this year.

Can't tell you about the Cleveland Show but the Chicago show for the last 2 years was about a fourth of what it was back before the economy went south. I expect that it will be about the same this year.

For me the Cleveland boat show was a disappointment. With no one there and the show being very small we were able to go through all the booths and boats in about 3 hours. I recall a few years back staying all weekend and still not be able to see everything.

Kudos goes to ODNR, their booths were awesome. Kids had a great time playing the games and learning about Lake Erie. The officers and other people working were really great with the kids.

I went to the Cleveland show today. I agree took about 3 hours to go though, spent another 1 at some booths. Rinker had 340, 310, 260, 276, 246, 226, 192 .... by the way we really love the 340. Other big boats at the show, Searay 46 & Regal 46 and a 45' sedan.

One salesmen told me the show has been good and seems to be a lot of interested buyers. I talk with a marine store owner, who I know and has a booth at the show, and he said the show was very slow.

Overall, I'm glad I went. Beats the hell sitting around complaining about winter.

Seems like the shows are getting smaller and smaller. Another month before the Boston show. Last year there was no Rinkers at all. Very disappointing.

by the way we really love the 340. O

My wife and I loved that one too. One of these days we'll move into a cruiser but right now I'm having too much fun wakeboarding behind the R1   shades
