Hello Italico, also I have the 280 with Volvo D4 diesel 260 HP.
What do you mean with "a problem of navigation"??
We have our boat now for three years and are satisfied now about our boat.
First year we had some issues with ao the hydraulics in the steering sytem, however finally everything seems fine.
The engine itself is perfect for us, absolutely not noisy, requires little fuel (on average less than 8 litres per hour). In detail at cruising speed 33 litres per hour at 48 kmph, slow speed 2-3 litres per hour at 10-12 kmph. We are very glad with that as prices of fuel in Netherland are quite high. Diesel around Euro 1,20 and gasoline around Euro 1.60 per litre!!!
Therefore we dare to use our boat for what it's made for: cruising. In 3 years time almost 500 hours on the clock.

Hope your test was OK and if you buy: good luck with yours.

No problem, your English is much better than my Italiano.
Don't know what type of EVC you have, the small round clocks or the big square instrument?
I have the square one. With the left button you can change between litres per hour or km. per litres.
This last one can be used only when the chartplotter is connected with the EVC panel.

My D4 runs WOT between 3400 and 3500 rpm's, depending on load. Speed is between 58 and 63 kmph.
At WOT consumption was approx. 53 lph but since 2 years I use the Starbrite Diesel additives to avoid water in my diesel tank. This also cleanes the engine (they say) but it results also in a reduction of fuel consumption as I am using now at WOT "only" 50 lph.

I have 3 batteries in total, being 1 starting battery (102 Amps) and 2 deep cycle house batteries of 105 Amps each (original 1 standard 75Amps)
I placed the 2 house batteries at starbord side just in front of the waste tank to reduce the listing to port side ("thanks" to the water tank at that side).
When you do so, be sure to use thick cables from the original location to the new location and as short as possible.

In my opinion OK.
The optima blue top can be of type SLE and DC.
When you use mainly for house, it is strongly advised to take the DC type as the SLE type is only for starting engines and is NOT recommended for house batteries.
Another advice: buy the 2 house batteries exactly same type and at same time to avoid differences and problems during loading.
