I read with interest the evening chat from this week that I missed, there was a discussion on drive showers for the Bravo III.  Al provided a really useful link to a shower I really like, no drilling holes, which I had no interest in doing, I have enough issues with corrosion without adding to it.

I'm not usually one to even mention something like this, but here goes.....

Anyone interested in some form of Group Buy?

They give a pretty good discount for quantity purchases and it seemed more than one person was at least marginally interested, as I am.  I'm just fishing here, but chime in and maybe we can start a dialog with the vendor?  Just fyi, they were...

http://driveshowers.com/

I dont check IM's often, if your even thinking about it, please feel free to chime in and we'll go from there.  Just makes sense, I'm thinking about getting one and the more you buy, the better the price gets.   excited

The drive shower I have only has one dump port right on the top of the drive, this system looks like it has twice the intake of water and 15 dump ports, I am interested in this one to replace the old one. I'm in.

I would be in for one Halo Max. I don't know if this will work with being in Canada. Let me know if you order and I can give you an address in OHIO if we can't get it to Canada.

James,
I can do $139.95 for the Halos and $124.95 for the Summits including free shipping as long as you can get 5 to 10. Have them call me at 585-334-0531 and mention the forum or group by name.
Thanks,

We did a group order last January / February (21 of the Halo drive showers ) and cost for each was $122.95 which included shipping. Paul will ship to Canada for a few extra bucks.
I set up a pay pal account for each person that ordered and with the pay pal charges each shower came to about $126. If you talk to Paul at Simrek, you may want to mention that you are an RBO member and maybe he'll give you a price close to what we paid for them in February of 2010. He wasn't intrested in having to process all the different credit cards, etc. and he was very happy to go with pay pal since his costs are lower using pay pal than with credit cards.

Good luck!

I came across this website awhile ago and thought it would be nice for group buys. I haven't used the service yet but check it out and see if it would be worth it to you.

I e-mailed Paul @ Drive Showers and asked him about ordering a drive shower under the James Campisano group and that I was a member of RBO. Here is his response.

Shaun,
The group buy that you are referring to ended months ago. I even
phased it out slowly by offering the showers at $30 off the first month,
$20 off the following month, etc. You might consider waiting until the
spring and getting another group buy going on the site. You only need
ten people to get it started at $30. off and $40. off if you can get 20
people committed to buy, plus the free shipping within the US ($20.) for
shipments to Canada.
Have a nice holiday,

Paul Kermis

I do not want to wait till spring because I plan on putting the boat in as early as possible in the spring. If anyone is interested please send me your name, model and number you want, shipping address and I will see if we can get at least 10 going. Please e-mail me at sdilliot@ciaccess.com

I have only had a couple of people e-mail me interested in a drive shower at this time. So I have ordered one myself so I can get it installed before my busy season. Should be seeing it any day. Maybe someone else can still get a group together, thanks.

I missed the group buy last fall due to several other expeditures but am looking to buy now. I contacted Paul at driveshowers.com asking if i could but at the discount after missing the group buy last year and he indicated I would need to get another group together. Please let me know if you are interested in another group buy.

I do not understand the need for a drive shower... are you boating on LAVA.

Plus the design is so simple you can make your own instead of paying $200 for it.

I tend to agree with Madcow.  Unless you’re cruising for hours on end do you really need them?  Plus with the cost of gas this summer I will be most likely idling were ever I go.  cry
