We keep our boat on the Hudson River in Piermont NY about 1/2 hour north of New York City. We are considering going out and watching the fireworks from in the harbor area, or East River area from the boat. My concern is I have heard it gets pretty crazy out there with all the boats and madness. Has anyone here done this before and what was it like. Any suggestions on good anchoring area, if we do decide to attempt the "experience".
