There  seems to be very little discussion in this region.

Seems there's a lot of boats at the Jersey Shore, though.

What's up with the posts here? Anyone?

They're all chilling with Snooki and The Situation...

(And yes, I know those freaks are from Staten Island or somewhere and not NJ...)

ROFL My wife's family lives near "da shore" and that show was the best thing to happen for our marriage... Every time she starts complaining about NY, Long Island, the Belt Parkway, etc., all I have to do is look at her and say, "Now, Snooki..."

Yeah... I spend a lot of time on the couch, but it's worth it...  grin

I look at this section daily but not allot of traffic here.  I may be a Jersey Boater next year.  Looking for a new marina currently.

I check in regularly.... Being in the NY Harbor, I straddle the Jersey Shore, LI Sound, and Hudson Rivers....

Not much happening in these regional forums...

Yeah, I know that I've always thought this would be more "shore" stuff than up the Hudson, so I never think to post -- maybe I'll ask Talon to change the title a bit or we can have the Hudson guys take over. I run down to the shore occasionally, but when the price of gas went up a few years ago it became "very" occasionally -- besides, we seemt o have a ton of fun within 20 - 40 miles of our home marina.

Rob, you're going to be moving? Any particular reason?

Rob, you're going to be moving? Any particular reason?

1. - I have had it with coming and going with the tides and low water.
2. - Leaning towards time to leave the Hudson for a while - Been boating on the Hudson for 20 years now and the trees are getting to familiar.

We are looking in NJ (Channel Club or Lighthouse Marina) and CT (Norwalk Cove) or New Rochelle (Imperial).

Have you looked at Crystal Point Marina or the Mannasquan River Club in NJ? I keep my boat there over the winter and spend a few wknds at the end and beginning of each season. Great location and nice place...

paying $175 in Brick for all year w/ winterization, summer electric, water, cable, pool and parking at the slip.  However, it's about 19 mi. to the Atlantic via ICW.

Wow there has not been this much activity on the Jersey Shore forum in a long time.  I'm at the end of the Metadonk River and I pay about $100 a foot, no pool and a long way to go for the ocean.  But I love it.   And I really wish Snookie would go away.  But they say she is good for local business.
