Shot a message out to Tony Walker who's doing the Great Loop on Saltshaker.  Am looking for a quick get together when he gets into the Chicagoland area.  He did message me back and will be here in the relatively near future, a couple weeks or so.  Wasn't looking for a complete raft up dealio just a few coldies and relaxing dock party some evening based on his plans in the area and arrival schedule.  I'm going to be out of town 8/26 through 9/4.  Hoping he shows up after that so I get a chance to meet him and some of you that I have been BSing with on the forum.  Who's in?

I'm in!
We are in the Starved Rock pool (between Starved Rock lock & dam and Marseilles lock and dam) at Heritage Harbor. From what I've heard, there are lots of loopers that stay in this harbor. I've been watching for Tony to post updates - it'd be great to chat "real time".

Frodo,
Does anyone from your pool hit the labor day party at Starved Rock Yacht Club? We typically have several boats from our club in Peoria.

Trich,
There are a handful of folks in Heritage that still belong to Starved Rock Yacht Club and we've been invited for a couple of their summer activities but have not been able to go. I imagine that we probably will head down there for the Labor Day party. I saw where you posted that you were heading up to Starved Rock over Labor Day - maybe we can raft up and have a few frosties.
We are also planning a trip to Peoria - probably the weekend of September 11 - 13 and are probably going to stay at Eastport.
