I agree but mine just went out last week after leaving it on all of the time. Anyone have a good replacement idea for the crummy factory installed Guest dual 15 amp charger? I am looking at the ProSport with two 20 amp outputs for $140-$180.

If you are replacing, I'd look for one that can do gel/AGM/lead-acid types. The new ones can do all of them and offer newer charging technology.

Thanks. I hope they are reasonably priced. I think the Xantrex might be pricey.

If you decide to upgrade your charger, be sure to check if any of wiring needs to be beefed up. Typically you'll need to go to a larger guage wire as your charging amp capability increases.

Went through two sets of batteries in 3 years leaving the charger on. How many of us come home & plug our cars into a battery charger? As long as you make a regukar trip to the marina, Turn it off and don't fry your batteries!!!

If you went through that many battery's the charger is malfuntioning. I have a bank on charge for past 4 years on every day Progressive Dynamics charger Once battery is completly charged the charger goes into soak or maintanance charge witch is minimal or no amperage out put until needed. Current production chargers like the Charles or Progressive Dynamics are extremely good. Al
