Advice on prop? I have a 2007 Captiva 226 with a 5.0L mpi.  I currently have a Vengeance 21P prop on it.  It does good at top end, but takes forever to level out.  Anyone try a prop that pops skiers out of the water?

Is the 21" aluminum?  If so I'd go to either a 19" aluminum or 17" stainless steel.  Many have also gone to a 4 blade 19" stainless.

It is stainless.  I tried a couple of 19', but couldn't tell a difference.  I saw that someone else had installed trim tabs with good luck.  Have you ever tried them?

Only have tabs on my 270, not the 232.  A 4 blade 19" should get you a better holeshot.
