I am tired of putting all the canvas on when leaving the boat. Considering I use the boat practically every day that's a lot of work. I'm looking for a mooring cover new or used just to eliminate some of the work preferably in navy but would consider other colors if need be. Thanks!

Bought mine two years ago and had it installed by the dealer (yes they have to drill at least a dozen new snaps into the gelcoat... cost $1000 (installed but it was open package).. and to be honest I rarely use it... definitely when tropical storm force winds are predicted and when I take the canvas and isinglass home to clean .... but not much more often than that. Interested in others opinion... Try Brian at Arnold's arnoldsboats@bellsouth.net

Are you looking for a mooring cover or a cockpit cover? doesn't a mooring cover go from bow to stern?

You may have a good point there. I'm not sure. I just want to cover the cockpit.

We have always used a cockpit cover. It keeps the rest of my canvas and eisenglass looking good.

You are 100% correct! What I called a mooring cover shoudl have been cockpit cover. Basically when I leave my boat I want to keep all my canvas stowed in the cabin and just snap on a cockpit cover to protect it from the weather and seaguls.

When all is said and done... I guess it's a matter of preference.. Many nights i get to the boat late and would rather not have to crawl under the cover... BUT when I have to put up the glass and canvas and it in the 90's like this past weekend.. the green house effect is BAD!!
NO GIN.. it took a while but i got a reply from Arnolds .... pay pal $$ sent and am waiting for my order... Best suggestion would be to keep trying or give them a call....

I would rather get a new one from Arnolds but like I said, I have been waiting for months and I don't think they have them.
