I have an '05 Casptiva 192 with a carburated 4.3 mercruiser.  The battery was installed with the terminals crossed.   I found an in line 5 amp fuse that was blown but all else seems to be in order with no other blown fuses that I can find...except she won't turn over...nothing.  Engine main fuse was not tripped, battery is good, all dash panel switches work such as the blower, horn, lights, etc, but no gauges and no juice to the key.  Throttle is in nuetral and the dead man switch is "on".

Did I miss a fuse somewhere that maybe I can't see or are there other issues?

Thanks!

Grab a meter and see if you've got power to the key switch.  If you have power to key switch, suspect key switch.  If no power to key switch, start tracing backwards fro there.

Just for closure purposes and for anyone else who may encounter this problem...There is a 90 amp fuse located at the starter which is very difficult to see or find.  This was the issue!

Thanks to all for their help and suggestions!

Jim.
