SSW, is your boat out of storage yet? Mine is in my driveway and I would like to do something similar to what you have for a rack. If it is out, can you post some more pictures?

No, I haven't been down to get it yet but I should be bringing her home in the next couple of weeks.  My wife is shooting for April 16th.  The lodge inside Lake Cumberland's State Park has an all you can eat seafood buffet every 3rd Friday of the month all season long http://lakecumberland.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=27034 drool.  She calls this perfect timing!

As soon as I get her home I will a take some pics and post them.  I'll post some pics of it loaded with skis etc., some unloaded and a few up close shots of the mounting. thumbsup

Here are some pics of the ski rack that I've modified.  The Velcro was all the standard 1" wide peel and stick that I folded onto itself making it two sided.  Always put the loop side down on the ski first to eliminate any chafing.  The black dividers are rubber stoppers (Lowes) that I drilled through the center for the screw.  All hardware is stainless.  I also covered the "L" brackets with Velcro, this will aide in holding the Velcro out of the way when loading and unloading the ski (see pic).  The boat hook and cockpit cover pole are on plastic clips that I bought from www.Wholesalemarine.com.

Also note the transom shower that I installed by the fire extinguisher.  I didn't have a good spot in the transom so I installed it there with a 10' hose.  The hose will come out at the corner of the sun pad while allowing the sun pad to close and leaving plenty of hose to shower with on the transom.  Above the shower door is a lighted rocker switch to turn it off and on.
