I don't think the instructions called for anything. When I backed the bolt out, it appeared to have nothing on it. I used Locktite (blue) thread sealer since it was a relatively low torque application.

I finally got someone else to drive the boat so I could check out my drive shower in action!! It looked like it was delivering a healthy dose of water to the drive. I ran on plane for well over an hour. I did not see any loss of fluid in the reservoir. BTW-water is still pretty high at Dale Hollow.
