Well, after many years of riding in friends boats my wife and I finally bought one of our own. A 97 212 festiva cuddy with a merc 5.7L. She runs well. shades

A few questions...

1) Where can I find a manual for the boat (I have asked the closest dealer)
2) Where can I find a manual on the motor?

Thanks in advance!!

Pretty much on your own for the Rinker manual.  It's quite generic anyway.  I think there is one posted in the "Library" here on the site.  As for the engine and drive you can get a Clymer manual.http://www.clymer.com/Book.aspx?bid=626&title=MerCruiser+Alpha+One%2c+Bravo+One%2c+Two+and+Bravo+Three+Stern+Drives%2c+1995-1997  Congratualtions on you new boat and welcome aboard!!
