I saw spare tire on a members trailer.  Where would I get a spare for my trailer.  Tandum axle for a 2006 246.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

I had my dealer get me the spare tire on my new 226 which should be the same as the trailer for the 246.  We tried to mount it on the belly of the trailer, but how mine was designed the boat would just skim the top of the spare.  My spare matches my trailer.

If you look in Overton"s you can get spare tire, rim and mount pretty reasonable, or I would contact your dealer.

I just bought the chrome directional rim and tire assembly from Overton's.  I couldn't find a better price anywhere, including the local tire shop.

I buy all my vehicle tires at http://www.tirerack.com. The price and service is very good. If you don't see exactly what you need on their website, call them.

All the best,

Nancy

Nancy,

I also love Tire Rack!  Although I have a confession, I usually use their tire reviews to make my decision and then use their advertised price as leverage at a local supplier.
