2004 342 Fiesta Vee Leaks
«

We have a severe leak in the forward berth of our 342 Fiesta Vee. When it rains, there is a stream of water coming in on the starbird side of the berth. We have resealed most everything. Any suggestions on what the problem could be or maybe a recommendation on sealant (we would gladly reseal everything if it would help).

Rinkers are somewhat famous for leaks (but then again, so are Sea Rays). Do a search on this board and you'll see that most of the leaks are due to rub rail leaks with forward porthole windows on the 342 coming in at a close second place.
Good luck!

My 270 is leaking as well, and it could be the top hatch, port window, rub rail or where the bow rail is screwed into the deck. In the spring it looks like I'll be the last one in because I'll be re-sealing all of the above and I don't think its going to be a quick job.
I don't want anything getting ruined as I'm sure you don't either, so its a mission to re-seal all the entry points.
I'm not looking forward to it.

One other thing to check.....in the anchor locker there are drainholes. Check those...they can clog and cause the exact type of "leak" you mention. I know because it happened to me......

I'm curious what you used to clean the holes? I'll be checking this out as well...
