Aquapalooza comes to Austin this year...

So, the we were shocked when Sea Ray announced that the 2010 Aquapalooza will be held on Lake Travis. They made of point of stating that last year (in Alabama) they had 30,000 attendees and 4000 boats. Those of us who know this lake (very well) are trying to figure out how they will not only get that many boats launched, but also how they will fit and how many accidents there will be.

On the bright side, after hitting a 60 year low lake level last summer, we are back up above average for this time of year (we have come up 42 feet in elevation over the winter thanks to rain and have only 9 feet to go to hit the full mark). So, we'll see how this goes.

All I know is that I am NOT leaving my slip that week. I'll just watch it on the news. :)
