Put me down for one! 2008 B III. Let me know, I can probably just swing up and get it from you. I'm not far out of Chicago.

Well...I've never done anything the easy way. I am either going to make a pick up tube for the transom and redirect the spray to the drive or investigate if one the old style speedo pick up tubes have enough capacity to effectively spray the drive. I figure $10 in parts and a few beers should keep me out of trouble for a couple of hours.
However, I bet ol' Al could fabricate one for $100. Some bent tubing and a couple of brackets? Common Al! I've read your posts and I know you have talent.

Hey Doug, put me down for two for the Bravo 3 XR drives - I think they're the same as the ones for yours, but we'd need to check. I'm bringing my 420 back in mid to late March from NC. If you need more info, please let me know 816-377-9911.
Thanks,
Dan

So it looks like we are up to 7 now - basically, my thought is that I'll give the folks at Drive Showers.com and see if they can take individual credit cards or not and see if we can get a better price since we are up to 7 now. If they don't want to take individual credit cards and do individual shipping, then I'm thinking I'll put all of them on my card and then do the following:
1) Put the drive showers on E-bay under some obscure description with a Buy It Now price for whatever the total cost is divided by the number of showers purchased.
2) E-mail each buyer with the description and a copy of the total charges (that way you can see what the true cost was).
3) Each purchaser MUST have access to an E-bay account and MUST have a Pay Pal account. That way, you can be assured that you will get your shower(s) and I will get paid.
4) Each purchaser will give me shipping info and then I can figure out how much each shipping charge will be. On the E-bay page, there will be a shipping calculator and I will also check my UPS account to see what estimated charges will be.
5) Once I get notification that someone has purchased their drive showers, I’ll pack and ship and send you a shipping notification.
I might be forgetting something but this won’t be that big a deal and I’d rather put in a little effort to save $120.
I’d like to wait a bit longer (maybe another week or two) to make sure everyone that visits the website has a chance to join in.
Feel free to chime in with any other thoughts.

Do I understand the method correctly - that the exterior tubing picks up the water & circulates around the OUTSIDE of the drive and disapates the heat like an external heat sink?
I just bought my 03 270 in the fall & don't know if I need on or not, but it sounds like it would be money well spent. I guess I would be interested in one as well. keep me posted.
I learn something new on this site every day - you guys are great!

Never mind - I saw a picture of another drive shower & see the holes on the inside of the tubing. I get it now.

I like the idea of us all just depositing money into your Paypal account, no need for ebay auction.. But please keep in mind if you ship UPS (instead of regular old USPS) to us Canadians we will get hit with another UPS brokerage fee that will eat up all the savings of a group buy for us.

I do have a Pay Pal account but I don't know how to set it up so that people can deposit money into my account. I checked the Pay Pal website and didn't see anything jump out at me as to how to set it up for others to pay for stuff.
NO GIN - you have an on-line business and I'm guessing that you use Pay Pal....? Maybe you can send me a private message telling me how to set this up without going the E-bay route.
I just want to make sure everyone is comfortable with how this transaction will work!
Looks like we are now up to 9:
NO GIN - 1
Me - 2
SMVORCA - 1
Bat - 1
D&D – 2
PBJT –1 (USPS shipping!)

I don't recall anyone answering if this would be of benefit for the Volvo drives - I'm assuming Merc only but if someone (Allan) could answer up, that would be awesome.
Just need to budget for the spring commissioning and since I just got back from the Bahamas and wrote my first check for the boat slip/spring drop now, I'm in a stellar mood. (The 12-pack doesn't hurt...)

Hey Frodo, if you already have a paypal account all you have to do is give us the e-mail address that is linked to the account and we could deposit money directly to the account- that simple. By the way, I will also require USPS shipping- as I did not see that noted on the list.
Thanks and regards,
Chris
