We took our "new" 232 out for the first time today.  It's 4' longer than our previous boat and it's our first cuddy it will take some getting used to.

She ran flawlessly and all of the buttons, gauges and gizmos worked.  After a few tame passes up and down the lake to get a feel for her, I flipped on the Captain's Call, opened her up and roared down the lake.  You just can't help, but smile.   :D

I did break the winch handle on the trailer and found that the cheap carpet installed on the bunks at the factory needs to be replaced...and this boat has only been off the trailer 3 times.  Easy fix.

We're now official Rinker boaters.  Pic of the Admiral at the helm attached.

It was about 67 and mostly cloudy.  We just can't seem to get out of the 60's around here this spring.  We're still having half of our highs in the 50's.  We needed to get out there and do a shakedown cruise so we could see what issues we had that wouldn't appear on a trailer in the garage.  I've got a side panel on the windshield to snug up and the trailer parts are already on order.  When the heat hits, we'll be ready!
