My wife has been hounding me about buying a bow filler cushion for our 212.  Those of you that have them, do you use them much? Is there a good place to store it on the boat when not in use?  Anyone know the ballpark cost?  Thanks.

We have them for our 212. We tend to only use them when we go out on a all day cruise or if we are going to an area for the kids to swim. The wife likes to stretch out an read up front while we play. I ordered mine with the boat but I think it was a 250$ option. They had a bag to put them in and store them in the ski locker but I didn't really like that idea because of them getting wet. When we have them onboard I just leave them in place.

we have a 232 bow rider and we leave them in all the time,  they also make a great bed when we sleep out.

the only problem with the factory ones is they don't fasten down well

THe wife and I sleep up front and our teenager sleeps on a cot in the cockpit area,  when he bring a friend they stretch out on the bench.

We spent the night last Saturday and it was perfect   95 during the day and low seventies at night.   Great sleeping out since we don't worry about bugs here

AZRinker,

I take it that you guys sleep out in the open???  Too many bugs in Maine for that.  Wouldn't it be cool if someone invented a tent/canopy to place over the bow of large bowriders?  Someone please let me know if someone makes one.  It would really help the debate of wanting the room of a bowrider, but the comfort of a cuddy.

X-Ray,

Thanks so much for sending the link of the boatent.  I haven't seen one yet.  What a great concept.  My question has been answered.  I am sure that I am not the only one who has always wondered/wished they had one.  Definitely going to look into one.
