I ordered a complete canvas set (include tops and side and aft eising glass) from him and received it this morning. It's in a big box and I put it in my truck. Will open it when I get home from work tonight. Since I've not opened the box yet, I have to reserve full comments, but the price was right and Brian was extremely helpful, so I have great expectations. I will let everyone know tomorrow how everything looks.

Maybe I am a bit more suspicious than others but it seems that the only people posting that they received anything from this guy are 1st time posters... Anyone else get the same feeling that something might not be right? That is a very astute observation and now that you pointed that out I am concerned about it too. I recall a saying about things that sound too good to be true.

Hopefully I jumped the gun with my suspicions too but it wouldn't have been the 1st time my naivety got me burned so it's better to be cautious.

I called them the first day that they posted and they promised to get back with me the next day regarding a full set for my 342. I have never heard from them again. I would be careful and proceed with caution.

I can definitely understand the frustration as to the delay in finding everyone what they are looking for in a timely matter. Trust me I am am the one looking. I have three or four people all looking for 342FV canvas in linen tweed. It takes time for me to find what people are looking for. I am devoting my entire day tomorrow to finding what people have asked for. I have been able to find canvas for a few of you relatively quickly(most of that was luck), the rest of you, please know that I, we(as a company) continue to look everyday. We are in the middle of remodeling and I can't lay everything out by model the way I would like to. I have a running list of what people are looking for! I work on it every night to try and find what everyone wants(we are a full service dealership during the day). I appreciate your patience and I will be in contact with the ones that have asked as soon as I know something!
Thank You, Brian Owens Parts Manager Arnolds Boats and Motors

I have done business with Arnold's Boats from Louisville for almost ten years. They have been around alot longer. I've bought two rinkers from them and the service they provide is first rate. Replacement parts were even mailed to my house rather than making a trip to shop. I'll stand by them.------ Art

No kidding. As I mentioned, I ordered and paid for a full set and since it has not arrived yet, can't comment on the final result....but I can say the experience so far has been great. I have found them very responsive and helpful.

Isn't it ironic that we are so used to crappy service that when someone gets service that is way above their expectations, the reaction first felt is to be skeptical? I was in the skeptical club at first on this one too.
Boy do I support those who give me good services and stuff.

Well put Tony. To add to that, we "play" in an industry that despite the $$ invested, is plagued (in many cases), by sub-standard service and support.

I will stand behind what Brian is saying. I ordered full camper canvas including bimini tops for my 310 and came home today and it was sitting by my garage. I opened the box just to have a look and everything looks ok but it will not be put on the boat until march so that will be when I know for sure. Just by talking with Brian on the phone made me feel like if there would be a problem he will take care of it. Thank You BRIAN for great service and a great price. Todd Kaptnt

Ok, I received my complete 342 linen tweed canvas package yesterday and opened the box today. Like Todd (Kaptnt). I am very pleased with what I got. It has every piece that goes with the package including straps and boots. It even has a complete hardware kit. I even got a pleasant surprise. My 2005 342 came with standard snaps across the bottom of the back drop. In 2006, Rinker changed that to smalls bungees. Since this canvas package was manufactured in 2006, the back drop has the bungees. This is a far superior fastening method than the snaps. Included in the kit are the connector "buttons" (for the bungees) that I will need to install, but that should be an easy thing to do. Like Todd, I won't be installing until spring, so I can't be 100% certain that everything will fit correctly, but I laid pieces (not everything) out next to the standard pieces in my basement (waiting for me the clean it!!!) and everything lined up perfectly. I recommend Brian and Arnold's Boats and Motors to anyone!! Thanks for you help in making this a great experience, Brian!!

Sounds like you all are getting a great product for a fantastic deal! That is great to hear. I wish I had waited one more season before spending so much more on my canvas . I guess there was no way what I had could've made it thru another season and we enjoyed it this past year. I can't wait to see the new canvases this summer! I will say having new canvas is liking having a new boat! & KapNT, you will have the best of both worlds this summer! Can't wait to catch up with you.
