Just bought a 2000 270FV without extended platform. Would really like to add one if possible. Any help?

There was a lot of trouble with mounting the platform on the early model 270's the would drag in the water, someone will chime in here there was a lot of discussion on this a couple years ago, you may want to do a search on this in the forums but it may take awhile.

Also found another co that makes similar product. www.swim-platform.com (I know, trying too hard to copy original). They have an over the top of existing deck mount style. I would assume this would help eliminate potential dragging. Getting a quote but pricing looks reasonable.  They start at $1295. Maybe this will be a good solution dont know
