Breaking in the new 280 EC Rinker, and I mean BREAKING in. One of the things that my wife broke, just kidding, I broke is the ladder. I looked everywhere and finally called the Windline. They said they special make the ladders for Rinker and they can sell me one for $300.00. The ladder is totally destroyed by drifting backwards in the sand when it was down. Does anyone here know of a site that you can buy these other than the manufactor Windline for a decent price? The # is Windline TDL-4XVF. It is 15 1/2 inches wide. Or, I would settle for another brand or three step instead of the four step if it would fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

eBay motors - boat parts section - do a search under swim ladder - there are tons of them that are less expensive.

On my 232 the ladder would hit the props on a hard turn if the trim was'nt all the way down. We have a swim platform so the new ladder much farther away. The ladder style is much better than the stock one from Rinker. The platform came from swimplatforms.com, the can tell you where they get there ladders. A little bigger step and drops deeper in the water for easier entry. Good luck

I am putting a swim platform on my 270 and it comes with a ladder.  I will have to pull mine.  If you can use the ladder off of mine, it would help me subsidize the platform.  Let me know how we can verify.  Thanks!

old post, but just wanted to say that the Rinker ladder on my 270 is pretty long.  Thats a good thing, but we anchor shallow for the kids.. I used a velcro strap to keep the bottom rung with the next one above it.  Works great to make sure it never digs in the bottom.
