We have a 1986 v-19 and a sidgle axle trailer and it is as much as I would want on 2 wheels. I just rebuilt the brakes so it is managable. I wish we had a tandem axle with just the 19.

Thanks everyone! Great feedback! The seller mentioned that the trailer has a maximum load of 3400# and the GVWR is 4300#. He bought it from a Rinker Dealer which I called and they said it is fine for the boat. The Tandem was optional. Your probably right about keeping the cost down. I may also call rinker to get more specifics.

Had a 1995 Rinker 209 with a single axle trailer & never had a single issue. Probally put at least 15,000 miles on the boat & trailer. Worked great. Was a trailmaster single axle w/surge brakes.
My brother has a 2004 212 w/single axle trailmaster - no problems or concerns what so ever.
