Where is the best place to pick up an owners manual for my 282 Captiva Cuddy? The Rinker web site only had a very generic download. Does anyone know of internet sites with manuals?
Thanks Greg

You might be looking for a "Captiva" 282 cc Manual. Never made a Catalina cuddy. But, if you want a Captiva owners manual. Call Rinker and ask for Cindy Scott in Parts. I know they have some, the manuals are not unique to each model though. Allan

The manuals are far too generic to have any value. While I love my 282, this was one of my disappointments moving from Searay to Rinker. Searay manuals included a parts manual and owners manual, with all kinds of model specific info. They even had wiring diagrams for the electrical.

what kind of information are you looking for? I have very indepth knowledge of the 282's. Did you know their are actually 2 completly different hull design's for the 282, The original 282 hull had 3 made, I personally know where 2 are but have lost track of the 3rd. All remaining hull's are basically the same hull mold as a 272. These are great boats, very strong, perfect day boats. Allan

Alswagg, do you happen to have a wiring diagram for a 2003 282 Bowrider? I'd love to have that when I'm working on or repairing electrical issues, modifying the stereo, etc.
