I am in the process of upgrading the stock stereo system in my '06 246BR and it appears after pulling the head unit (Clarion M455) that there is an AMP for two of the 6 speakers located somewhere on the boat. there is a relay tied to the blue ,remote on, wire. and two of the RCA outputs are connected.? all of the wiring is loomed,so it makes it nearly impossible to trace anything.
Is this somthing Rinker adds to control the AMP?
Does anyone know the location of an exsisting AMP to drive 2 of the speakers?
Is there a wiring diagram available that has the stereo wiring and component locations?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had to hook my stereo back up last 4th of July. Everything is behind the passenger side panel.

All of the hardware and connections are in the passenger side of the hull. Gently remove the passenger seat from the post. Gently pull the round snap-on covers from the passenger side upholstery panel. Unscrew the dozen screws and the screws in the cup holder insert (2 screws in top). Use a battery drill on low torque. Gently lift and remove the side panel and there's the stereo hardware. There's all of your unlabled connections. Nothing is labeled in my boat, just spaghetti everywhere. Run your cables, etc to the head & amp units. Check all connections twice before buttoning everything up again. I'd use small zip ties at all connections where ever possible.

Open a beer, sit back in awe of the rocking sound system or resort to booze in frustration if my directions are wrong.   dont know
