First one is easy.  I bought an older but in great shape 186 Captiva.  Is the name pronounced Cap-tea-va or Cap-ta-va?
2nd question-  This boat starts up easy when first off the trailer and into the water.  I've noticed though after shutting down for more than a few minutes to swim or just float that the boat is very difficult to restart.  The engine is turning over and the battery is charged.  Are there any ideas on what is occuring

Cap-Tee-Va ,,,the same way as Captiva Island in Florida .

Starting could be a number of problems,,,,,vapor lock occurs with excessive heat ,,or a dirty fuel filter , best to have a certified mechanic take a look . Sry I couldnt be any nore help .

Thank you for the correct pronunciation.  It was bugging me not knowing.
