Talon,
LOL!  All we need is an RBO with a REALLY...REALLY big truck...rent a boat trailer...and lots of bungee cords.
Hey...that might actually work.

We hope to make it for at least one day.

That would be great!  I saw on another post you have kids.  What age?  ChesBay and I both have kids in the 5-9 year old range.  The kids tend to have fun on the kayaks or anything in the water all day while the adults tend to chat and drink or whatever else.  Always a great time!  & the more the merrier! thumbsup

Our son is 8 and daughter is 16.  Our daughter is hit or miss on the boat because she works during the summer.  Our son tends to swim, dive for shells, etc... and sometimes we set up the floating island.  My wife and I tend to lounge in floating chairs or on the boat...enjoying music, sun, and beverages.  Sounds like we're pretty similar.

Just thought I would give this link a bump up, since July is next week clapping.  Christine (my wife) had an idea of getting some t-shirts made up for the event.  I think I may look around and see what kind of cost they would be.  Nothing over the top or anything but I'll see what is out there.

I had a little scare this past week (on our 10-day trip) with the generator.  Sucked in a jelly fish and after clearing it out I still couldnt' get the genny to stop overheating.  Ended up having an air lock that took a while to track down.  Thanks to Dan and his tools and even borrowing part of his genny, well I believe all is working again. thumbsup  Gotta have that genny!  Especially for anchoring.

Let me know what you think about a few t-shirts and if you know anywhere that would cut a good deal.

We're still planning to make a day trip on Saturday the 25th, if the weather forecast is decent, hopefully arriving by 11am and staying most of the day.  It will be a little over an hour ride or so for us at close to 30 miles, depending on wind conditions.  Do some folks plan to overnight on Friday?  I can't remember, did an earlier post say we'll be at the outside portion of Still Pond?  I prefer that area, although its not a big deal either way.

Yes, we'll be getting there Friday morning and staying until Sunday afternoon.  Looks like we will have around 10 or so boats join the group.  Yes, we are planning on anchoring in the outside area as long as wind isn't out of the North or too bad.

Look forward to seeing you there.  BTW, here is the link to the other topic on this - http://www.rinkerboatowners.com/forum/index.php/topic,4495.45.html
