A very unique "Poker Run" has just been announced for Dale Hollow Lake. Visit the link below and learn all about this unique opportunity to visit Dale Hollow Lake by water and/or by road. You can participate in this event with a boat, with a car, a motorcycle or any other motorized device that can travel on land or water. And you can take your time (up to nine days) to visit the seven participating marinas and collect your seven cards. This is a very unique concept and the anticipation and interest from boaters as well as bikers is phenomenal. If you enjoy poker runs, this should be a new experience and a substantial amount of the proceeds go toward an excellent cause: The Ronald McDonald House in Nashville, TN.

I know this is an old post, but is anyone else going to be doing the poker run at Dale Hollow this weekend? I think the future misses and I are headed down to finalize some details for our wedding at the lodge. SO I figured while we are making the trip, might as well bring the boat along, camp for the night, and spend a couple days on the water doing a poker run.

Anyone else gonna be down there? If so shoot me a PM with some contact info, and I'll see if we can manage to hook up while down there.
