DREAM INN....  add me to your list, I should be there on friday night...

That is great to hear!!  Christine (the wife) was just asking last night about you guys!  I said I wasn't sure since you usually take your trip in August, but thought if you didn't make it we can try to meet up with you then since we have our trip planned up North in August.  Hope you're bringing along the kids too! thumbsup

Wet!  That's also great to hear!  Hopefully we'll have some calm waters for us over the weekend.  & the more the merrier! watching

Alright, we've got quite a list so far!  I'm thinking we'll have at least 10!!

Dream 'Inn
Dan&Darci
ChesBay
KaptNT
Sea Monkeys
Riverside (Auaholic II)
Wet
PAZ
TRSanctuary?
KCDawn?

Maybes?:
Cwhyte
StingRayJim

I also know of one or two others at my marina that may make it.  I'm thinking we will anchor out in the front area as long as weather permits, just to the south as you go in, not past the coast guard area (or known as S P creek), but the area that is actually on the charts as Still Pond.  This is front of the entrance to Churn Creek.

For those that have never been there before, take a nice beach chair.  The area has some very nice sand and some spots you can even sit in the shade on it.  The water is definitely a bit clearer than the middle part of the bay, and it's always fun to float around at the entrance to Churn Creek, where when the tide is coming out of the creek will take in never-ending circles while floating on a raft or noodle. whistle

Also, churn creek provides a great area for kayaking and seeing nature at its best.  Last time we went we saw a couple bald eagles, plenty of blue herons and a beaver dam.

Definitely move on over on Saturday!  We'll probably be kayaking or running around on the dinghy a bit on Friday, so we'll catch you over there.  We like to hit that little gunk hole on the back side by the USCG.

I'll bring the duct tap for the Formula thumbsup.  You can just tell him that he'll "blend" right in anyhow...don't they look like a Rinker anyhow ROFL...just a bit more expensive.

As far as posting this, I did put it on the calendar and in the events section as well.

Hey John,

Though plans are always changing on my end, looks like we are still a go for a Saturday arrival. Still up in the air as to what time, will let you know.

Also, just to confirm, this is the area where you plan on setting up, correct?

Well, I'm not able to see your picture here at work.  But, that's great to hear you are able to go!!  Weather looks to be a bit warmer on Saturday.  As far as location, it is the beach area to the South in front of churn creek as you enter it will be on your right.  If you go in past the coast guard station you went too far.  We should be easy to spot.

I'll take a look at your pic when I get home today. thumbsup

We'll be there Saturday (assuming decent weather), along with my 9 year old son, and maybe some other friends.  Just a day trip for us.  That picture looks like the right spot, based on Dream's description.  I may bring some of my Margarita's as well, and probably a floating island for any kids.

That's great, it sounds like they'll be a few kids that can hang together!  My daughter will be 9 in August and my son is 6.  Sounds like they'll be plenty of things to keep them busy....and plenty to keep the adults busy too drinking
