This is a follow up on the previous topic "Faded Blue Hull". We as Rinker Boat owners need to collectively voice our concern directly to Rinker. I am not sure what would be the best way to do this. I will suggest that anyone that has this problem send me an e-mail. I will collect all the names for a month and then compose a letter to Rinker. I will post the letter on this form for all to read and add to / up date before I send it to Rinker. Maybe if we have enough angry people we can get Rinkers attention. I would suggest that when you send me your name you include the model and year of your boat.
I am not a dealer. I am just another pissed off owner with a faded black hull. I will do nothing more with the info you send me than forward it to Rinker.

Thanks Bob. I'll take your suggestion. My boat is a 2005. As you can see form the picture it has a black hull. Well i guess I would have to say a gray hull now.

I thought is was just because we were in Arizona that we had hull fading but count us as one with that issue.  Now that I think of it never had this on my two Sea Rays

Has anyone considered putting this into a private forum?  maybe for registered RBO users only?
Seems bad talk about our own boats can only lead to less resale value.  just my 2 cents.
If I had major problems with my boat I'd certainly think twice about putting it on public forums.
I do hope that Rinker can make the best of what seems to be a bad situation.

I'm with you, Spacelord.  This may be problem for some owners, but I don't think it should be broadcast for all to see.  Let's just gather the info and then get with Rinker.

I don't have a problem.  Waxing and polishing is a normal part of keeping up a boat.  Waxed mine in the spring last year and was satisfied thru the summer.  Plan on polish and wax this spring.

PS Black hull

This is not a wax, compound or polishing problem.I think most of us know how to wax and polish a boat.
