This area can be used to publish information about upcoming boating related events. Things like boat shows and reaftups can be placed here. After you have posted the event in its own thread, a PM to myself or one of the moderators requesting that it be added to the calendar will link the thread to our calendar so everybody can see it at a glance.

Actually, I put in my anniversary, since the "Park" part (the admiral) was born on Oct 20 and the "Rode" part (me) has an Oct 11 birthdate.  So we chose Oct 16 as our wedding date - and celebrate accordingly! ;)

Since both of us are past 50, we figured impersonating 14 year olds would be interesting! ;)
