Does anyone with a 246 or even a little smaller or larger have a camper enclosure?  I'd like to see as many pictures as possible to get ideas, as we would like to get one for ours.

Post em if you got em!  Thanks!

We have an enclosure for our 212, but only have a few long shot photos with it up.

Only have used it a few times but has saved the day in those times,(rainy or cold days on vacation) late in the year cruises. One of these days I would like to camp over night on the boat.

Next time I bring the boat home from storage I'll take some pics. for you. It may be awhile vacation just ate up gas money for awhile.

I have  the camper enclosure for my 246cc.
We really like the whole thing. it turns the cabin into a salon so to speak and enlarges the entertainment area.
Ours has a screen in the aft closure part. I am thinking of having a screen made for the windshield connector so I can get some great air flow.
I also only have pictures from a distance.

Here are some shots of my 232 with the camper top up.  We overnight on ours and this top changed the experience completely.  One thing I recommend is screens in the side curtains.  It gives you great cross-flow ventilation which keeps the humidity down during the occasional rain storm and the bugs out during the night.  The side curtains have windows that unzip to reveal the screen material.

SWW, thanks for the pics.  That looks good!  I definitely want screens and possibly a zip out door in the rear.  I think we'll get a lot more use out of the boat with it.  Thanks again  :)

I would think another pole to go over the rear sundeck would add a TON of space in there. Almost like making that rear sundeck another bed?!?!

I can see a zip-out door, and screens being a big plus as well!

I agree with the side screens...very handy.  I made my own side screens on my 250EC and saved about $350.  Not too difficult if you can learn to use a sewing machine.

My advice. If you don't have one get one! We just bought our boat this spring and the enclosure has already saved the day. I even spent a stormy night on board. We were tied in a slip in the marinia and I didn't want to leave my boat unattended. I was dry and very comfortable. I enjoyed it so much we are planning a couple fall overnight trips. It also makes going out when the weather forcast is kinda ify a little easier. Good luck!

Find a good canvas shop in your area and have it custom made. That's typically how its done.  As a guess, I would figure $3,000 to $4,000 for a complete enclosure.

SlipperyWhenWet's top looks like the stock one that came with my 232 CC.  To me a camper top extends to the back of the boat and has a second set of braces/supports.  I had one made for my previous boat, a Stingray.  When I bought my Rinker three years ago, it came with the factory top.  I am still considering having the "back" unit built to connect to the existing top and sides with an additional top and ventilated sides and a new rear cover.  With the factory top, an extra (third) person cannot sleep on the sun deck because of the angle of the rear cover.  With the "camper" top, the rear cover is vertical or near vertical allowing the extra sleeper.

I found some pictures of what I want on another 232.

That's similar to what I put on my 232.  Had them make it tall enough to walk around in the cockpit.  Made it so the top front section could be used as a bimini without the side panels or rear half being up.  Night time we would add the rear top which extended straight back as far as the sundeck.  Zipped in all the side curtains and we were set for the night.  All the side curtains were rolled up and kept in a nylon tent bag under the starboard seat and both the top sections fit very well in the engine compartment where the stock top was stored.
