I'm currently looking for a set of 22" pitch props. I was out yesterday with a family of friends. Took a while to get on plane. I have 24" on now which have been fine with a light load. I plan on keeping those on most of the time but will switch to the 22's when I anticipate a crowd.

Found a set over at another site I frequent, http://www.crowniehq.net. I've run with 4 aboard before but these were big people. Didn't help that the biggest fellow decided that he wanted to stand right at the gangway as we headed out. You running 24's?

yes I have 24's, my normal load try to stay around 4-6 people with 6 I need to put a couple in the V to get up and cruise, once I am up no problems. I also dumped alot of water out of tank, will put more water back in when just me and wife spend weekend out for showers...
We had a great weekend out for the first time in a month. River here still above flood and current running strong. Our river looked like Lake of the Ozarks on Sunday. Everyone here had cabin fever and boats everywhere.

I kept changing my weekend plans as the weather and work dictated. I have yet to overnight aboard. It's killing me. I might just launch alone with the dog some night this week and hang out on the hook. Not a bad weekday getaway.

I find that B3 props really expensive and are usually properly pitched for your boat. Did you find a place where these props are less than a couple thousand..? Cheers, Ron

Just suggestion:
If you have a Merc. master dealer in your area talk to their parts manager. They have a nice margin on parts form Merc and may be able to come down to these on-line prices.
I was able to negotiate on a purchase I made a while back.
That does not include shipping, which could be a lot due to the weight!

That is why I was looking for used. Alot of guys will reprop after they get their boat hopped up a bit. The 22's were a little too small for the guy I am getting them from so I am getting a pretty good deal on them.
