Howdy,

We have a 1986 V19 with a merc 3liter engine and alpha1 drive with  19P 3 blade prop. We are not using the boat at high speed cause lake erie is mostly too rough to run WOT.  W will also be pulling grandchildren tubing. could use a new prop and wonder if a 4 blade would be a better choice fo us. Possibly bettr plane at modest speeds and beter acceleration. If so What would be a "right" size.

There is a great dicussion under this forum "Recommend a new prop" That will help answer the question.
