"C" type davits on a Rinker 280
«

Has anyone installed any of these "C" type davits on a Rinker 280? I am wondering of the hardware aligns with the existing cutouts in the swim platform and is there enough clearance for them to swing down to retrieve the dinghy.
These are the two models that I'm considering ....

I've seen them installed on several larger boats with the cutout and they worked fine. That probably doesn't help a whole lot but if you haven't bought them by spring I'll take a look around. I'm in a Rinker dealer marina & it seems that a lot of boats in there have this type of bracket.

I have the ones in your second link (Plastic Innovations C-Lift Inflatable Boat Carrier) and they work well, and are super-easy to install.

I tried the plastic ones and thought they were too flimsy and when I tried to pull my dinghy up the "C's" didn't rotate up.
if you install them in the recessed area you can't pull the pin to remove them.
I returned them and I'm going to get the weaver davits.
