has anyone here done a small block chevy swap into an 18'  rinker? it now has the 3.0...

Havnt put a small block in one yet but you really should look for a older Merc 3.7, its a 4 banger that merc cast themselves with a ford 460 head on it. The only down side to them is that they are a aluminum block with a iron head which lightens weight but is weaker. That engine is a runner and is very strong little engine and the alpha drive can handle it just fine. If you have anymore questions please ask i have a fair amount of infromation on that engine
