I have owned a 92 235 Fiesta Vee for the last 3 years and have been very happy with it.  I has always bothered me that the center section of windshield is not hinged so that you can more easily walk out on the bow.   I recently removed the plate that covers the top of the windshield and noted that that middle section seems to be set up as a piece that could slide out .  Does anyone know if it is supposed to slide out for access to the bow?  Mine does not but that could be from many years of non-use and also because my all around navigation light is mounted with screws 1/2 way up the seem on the starboard side.  I don't want to risk damaging the window section by forcing it.  If I knew that it was suppose to work that way I may take a chance working on it
Any feedback is apprecitated.
