Hi,
Actually I was wondering if anyone has purchased a replacement LED bulb for their anchor light.  If so, what bulb number did you purchase?  I opened my bulb housing up last weekend and I have two bulbs in the housing.  They look like the same style that are used in a cars dome light.  The number I got off of the bulb was 12866, but I can't seem to find it online.

Thanks!

I haven't seen a LED bulb for that - but do know you are correct on the dome light bulb - in fact that is what I replaced ours with here while back.

I have seen the led bulbs like that - but led is directional and you need basically 2 180 degree...

I do have this link I have been watching...

This is about as close as you are going to get, Only 120 degrees but refracted through the fluted lens probably just as visible as some of the old discolored incandescent stuff I see out there.  The Perko 360 degree model is nice but at $135 is a little pricey

Thanks,  I'm going to measure up one of the bulbs today to see exactly what one will best replace by size.  After looking at the links you guys posted I looked and came up with a few, but it's hard to cross reference with a bulb number that doesn't appear to be to common.  Plus the most important factor is the illumination angle.  If anyone has already replaced these with LED, please let me know.

Hella Marine has some of the best out there, and Coast Guard certified too.

I replaces my bow lights with LED, they light better, no water intrusion, less power usage.

Not to take over the topic, but has anyone replaced their spreader (lights on the arch) with LEDs?  I'd like to know what you used.

Look on this sight. Should have you covered. Mine were the festoon type.I replace all my lights inside and out with LED(even the instrument) and with all  lights on I only draw about 2 amps.
