Going nowhere fast. I did get alot done in preparation for tomorrows day on the lake. Planned a nice little outing with a few friends to Green River Lake for the day. Hope to be pulling out ~9:30 in the morning (I wanted to leave at 7am, but got Veto'd by a beauty appointment the GF already had :(.....Note to self, always check the easy stuff first.

I then took it upon myself to spend about an hour or so shop-vac'ing the entire boat. Carpet looks a ton better now. Previous owner said he detailed it before we took delivery, however now that I've gone over it myself, I can't see how he could've done more than broomed it out. Most of which I think ended up in the ski-locker.

Next on the list was a complete wipe down. Another hour spent wiping everything with a wet micr-fiber cloth. Just generally cleaning up smudges, and misc dusty dirt-ness from everything. Removed the POS compass that the previous owner installed. Funny how no matter which way I was going it always read NW. I've got a GPS setup now, so no need for that anymore. Of course that involved 15 minutes of scrubbing, and cleaning to get all the double sided sticky tape off. The rest of the cleaning went pretty easy. Took some time to re-arrange the life vests, and managed to free up some storage. Good thing too since I just dropped $150 on two nice ski vests for the GF and I. Manged to get the ski's the rope, and two new vests in the locker, I'm very pleased with that. All the ski stuff in one spot. Also spent a few minutes cleaning up the anchor rope knotted mess I had. Kind of a pain in the butt, however it's much better than scrambling while on the water with people watching.

The rest of the night was spent cleaning up the truck for the drive down. Vacuumed, washed, and generaly cleaned up. Blew the tube up, and tried to wedge it under the windshield. That didn't work so well. GF had a GREAT idea. Laid the front-to-back seats down, and the tube fits in there PERFECT!!! I swear she's a genious sometimes. Got it lashed down with some spare rope I had around (BTW, the 25' sections of braided rope at Wal-Mart for $3 ROCK!!!). Filled the cooler up and it's ready for some ice. Now we just have to get up and get going.

I'll have some pics up here soon I hope of the nice clean interior. Depends on if the card reader works here in a second. :D

Can't wait to get on the water!!!!

Yeah - should of seen the "cluster" we had today when 3 storm cells converged right on top of us... All safe and accounted for - no damage (except a stripped out Windlass on a Regal)...

But man - that's a busy night - we, floated around and said the cleaning can wait until morning - LOL... Like it will get done then.

Had a great time Saturday with a good group of friends. Pulled the tube almost all day. Spent a couple hours relaxing in the water. Overall a good day.

Did have to fight the battery in the truck early on at the gas station. I think my new electric fans are drawing more current than my alternator puts out :D

I did take a few minutes to snap some pictures over the weekend. They can be found Here

Clean boat pics can be found here
