Just a quick update from where I left off with this.  First off, I pull the boat today because the season is basically over    Temperatures are barely getting above 20C now and the trees are already starting to change.  We also got the warning today that the docks are coming out on 3 Oct so...

So, today was the day.  I took a really good look at the tab today and everything looked normal from the inside and out.  I took the wires off from the connection point at the back of the engine compartment and had my wife power the good tab.  I got a reading of 13.xx volts with the meter, then I had her do the same for the other side (bad side) and got the same reading on the meter.  So, I'm thinking the actuator is shot.

Has anyone ever removed an actuator before?  When you disconnect it from the tab and stern by pushing the plastic push pins back through.  You then have the actuator connect to the stern of the boat with the power cable only.  Is there anyway to disconnect this wire from the actuator, or do you have to disconnect it from inside the engine compartment and pull the wire back out?

Thanks, and if you have any suggestion please let me know...

Thanks!
Steve
