I was at West Marine the other day and they had Quicksilver 25w40 synthetic oil  (was in a grey container). Is ther e any difference in this oil compared to the Mercruiser synthetic that i buy at my dealer in the red container. The price was . thanks  , Pedro

Nope...no difference...quicksilver makes mercruiser oil.....straight from the mercruiser site.
IN ORDER OF RECOMMENDATION
Mercury/quicksilver full synthetic 20w-40
Mercury/quicksilver synthetic blend 25w-40
Mercury/quicksilver conventional 25w-40
