Author Topic: cant get more than 2500 rpm in my fiestavee 26  (Read 161 times)

yesterday i went out and cant rev the rpm engine above 2500 rpm and no more than 15 mph by gps, the rpm gauge showed not steady reading.please , if someone knows about this i really appreciate any advice

Change the fuel filter (fuel water seperator) first

If its not the filter and separator as Boomer said, I had that problem after the boat sat for 2-3 weeks and i found the hull and drive full of barnacles.  Scrapped them off (lots of work in the water) and then it was OK.

thanks a lot guys for a quick response!. i'll check fuel filter first as you said and i cleaned and polished the hull 3 months ago , since then i got it on a trailer so im going to try that .
