I used the toilet all last season. Air lock,,,mabey if new. It's 3 years old. I could just get the pump kit...I'll check the price difference between the kit and the toilet.Kit=79$. Toilet=149$. no taxes untilthe end of feb.

When my manual pump started to gurgle and seemed to produce less water per pump, I would just re prime it.
Takes about 20 secs to do. Then the gurgle was gone and a good stream of water would come into the bowl on each pump.

Pull off the top hose by the pump handle. Put switch to wet bowl setting. Put thumb over hole. Give it a pump and it will suck your thumb in a little. Release thumb and lake water should come out. Replace hose quickly and pump a few more times to get water going. That always worked for me.

I never use lake water to flush we use fresh water from the shower head keeps smell down in holding tank no live orgasims from lake in tank. Put a little baby oil in the bowl lubricates the pump.

The flappers in the manual pump break all the time.. which gives you the same symptoms... Just pull the top off and reinstall new ones and your toilet will work just fine. Not a very expensive fix.

Lucky. I never had these problems before...It is how you use things in life that help them perform properly. Buying the boat used showed me that this guy did not take care of his stuff the way it show have. Now, I`m stuck with all these stuiped little repairs, but, I have to admit, they are not big ones.

But, on the positive side, you got a lot of boat for your price, you're getting to know her really well and look at all the fun you're having! I went through that with our first boat, upgrading electronics, tv, toilet, etc... I really enjoyed it.
