Hello,

I just got an accepted offer on a new house that has a detached garage. I don't get posession untill March 30th and the Rinker 232 Captiva Cuddy is in winter storage. My question is will it fit in the garage. The door is an 8ft door. Clearance measured approx 7'8". Anybody that has access to their similar era 232 mind measuring height of windshield for me? Or know of theirs fitting in an 8ft overhead garage door? I know depth wise I am fine its just height of windshield I don't know about.

Thanks!!!!

I believe that it should fit. Even if you look at the photo of your boat , It can't be over 8 feet. Good luck pirate

This could be a loaded question.  The fitment will really depend on the type and brand of trailer.  If the trailer is a Trailmaster or Prestige, I would say yes, especially if the trailer is same age as the boat.  The newer trailers generally have larger 15" tires while the older have 14".  The original 232 was a fairly lightweight boat also.  Good luck  Al

Mine sits on a new aluminum trailer w/ 15" wheels and I would not try to back it in an 8' garage.

My 97 232 fits in my barn door of 8' with about two inches to spare. I had to trim the J-arm that connects the door to the opener. I have a Heritage trailer but darn if I can remember what size wheels and tires it has. I think you should be fine.

My '03 Rinker 232 measures 7'10" with a full tank.  It sits on the original Trail Master trailer with 14" rims.  Also it is just under 29' long from coupler to swim platform/ladder.  Hope yours fits because mine is outside next to the garage... bang head

This is interesting. I must have an oversize trailer. My 2004 232BR sits 8'3" on the trailer. Overall length coupler to platform is 32'4". It has 215/70/15 tires I think. What gets me is that the front of the boat is almost 9 feet from the back of the truck when hitched up.
