Our 270 has a swim light mounted under the swim platform on the port side.  The lens is cracked and I would like to replace it.  I contacted Cindy @ RInker and my price to replace was over $200 bucks.

Does anyone have any idea where else these may be available?  I know Rinker has to be buying these from somewhere...

Thanks,

HUH???  What about adding some LEDs under the platform?  How bright is that light and does it shine down into the water?

I have since located the original equipment light.  The maker is Barnegat and the light has a 50w halogen bulb.  I can buy this for $150 which would be easy.  They also offer an LED option but over twice the price...  Regardless, Barnegat has some cool lighting options but they are a bit pricey.

The LED would probably offer as much, if not more light, at a much lower draw for wattage. Not sure if you have a genset or more house batteries than my 270, but I've gone LED wherever I can on my boat for better battery life. That's in the cabin, nav lights, and if/when I do an under-platform light, there too.

JJ, on the swim light I will probably just go with halogen since its 1/2 the price of led.  We do have a generator so I'm not too worried about draw.

But, this brings up another question.  Do you have a radar arch?  If so, do you have led's mounted underneath the arch?  I have knockouts under mine but no lights and I want to put some led's there but not sure which ones to buy.  I want them to be bright but not too bright.  Any advice here would be appreciated.
