We bought our 270 last season and enjoyed many nights sleeping aboard.  One thing we must address is the comfort of the mattress in the aft sleeper berth.  We like to use the v berth as a table / sofa.

How many other 270 owners use the aft berth regularly and what have you done to make it more comfortable?  Most of our camping is done in the slip so we have shore power.  We do use a small fan that helps circulate air back there but it's loud.

Lot's of sun and cocktails help for a good nights sleep.  Anything else?

I too have spent many nights on the 280. For comfort I added another foam mattress over the original as they are thin. Air circulation hasn't been too bad with all of the windows open. My minor grievance is that with the watertank full and the waste empty the boat leans to Port and therefore you sleep downhill.....!

I put a queen size memory foam mattress topper from Target on top of the factory foam pad. It's very comfortable.

Memory foam is the easiest fix to make the mattresses more comfy.  You can cut them with an electric turkey knife if needed.  we have one for our 270 v berth where we sleep.

Memory foam here too.  3" thick.   Would have done 4", but they were out of stock.
