Hello Everybody,

My 2005 342 has now been in the water for two full seasons. Prior to this, I had new bottom paint applied and new anodes installed. I talked to some of my buddies and they say I should be good for another year. Freshwater lake. I'm getting a bit nervous concerning the anodes.

How can I check these with the boat in the water? What am I looking for?

Thanks,

Hamdog

Hard to check in the water.  My drives service guy recommends cleaning them (shot blast) yearly.  If more than 20% is gone, replace them.

You should have, per drive: (1) at each ram end, (1) on the prop nut, (1) under the anti-cavitation plate directly over the props.
